Failure
Nothing is displayed on the LCD screen.
The RPM is not displayed.
The RPM indicated is unstable (normally the engine RPM varies by approximately ±100 to 300 rpm).
The RPM displayed is too high.
The RPM displayed is too low.
The display of the LCD is blank.
Please buy a new one as the battery cannot be replaced.
※Only the battery of the PET-1200 can be replaced.

If using contact-free, with the hour meter and the spark plug cables at a distance of 5 to 15 cm, slowly raise the RPM from idle to max RPM and check that the colon (:) on the LCD display flashes in all ranges.
If using by wrapping the antenna lead, reduce the number of wraps. The normal number of wraps is between 3 & 5, but it may vary with the strength of the ignition pulse. Slowly raise the RPM from idle to max RPM and check that the colon (:) on the LCD display flashes in all ranges.

Let it run for at least 1 minute. During measurement, the colon (:) of the LCD display flashes, so make sure it is doing so.
